Bluedelta MILESTONE-2.0 distributes high quality video and audio plus IR remote control over unobtrusive low cost CAT5 cable.
MILESTONE-2.0 has a range of 1 mile/1600 metres. It is ideal for high quality video/audio distribution where distances are too great for SCART, or where a less bulky cable is required. MILESTONE is ideal for homes, pubs, clubs, supermarkets, display stands, shop window displays.
MILESTONE-2.0 is flexible and extendable. It can be used as a simple point-to point system, or built into a network feeding over 500 displays from multiple inputs - either way, the same modular devices are used.
MILESTONE-2.0 has some unique features:
- SCART Connectors: Master and Slave units plug directly into your source and display devices respectively. We also have Phono versions
- Modularity: The same basic building blocks are used for all MILESTONE-2.0 systems. So you can install a simple point-to-point to try it out, then when you want to upgrade you simply add Hubs, Slaves, and anything else you require to the system.
- Power Efficiency: MILESTONE-2.0 has the lowest power consumption of any device on the market. It also has a unique power-save mode, so when no signal is present you save a further 80%.
- Remote powering: All Slave units are powered entirely through the CAT5 cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply at the display.
- Master back-powering: If necessary a Master unit can be back-powered from a Hub. This is especially useful for remote camera applications.
- Remote Control: feedback included as standard. Master units come complete with our standard “Blaster”, whilst Slave units include our standard “Eye”. Together, they forward remote control signals to the source from your display device(s) - allowing you full control of your entire system from anywhere
- No hidden costs: the price you see is the price it costs you for a working system (except the CAT5 cable of course.) We won’t hook you in with a low price for the Slave, but then force you to buy a special expensive cable to connect it with. With Milestone you get no nasty surprises.
- Audio: MILESTONE-2.0’s audio capability is on a par with that of far more expensive audio-only systems.
- Signalling: MILESTONE-2.0 carries On / Off / Widescreen signals from source to display, enabling automatic input selection, and helping to get the aspect ratio right.
