This unit is the same as the Scart Master unit, but connects to your source device with 3 RCA phono plugs (composite video, left audio, right audio).

MILESTONE allows you to feed displays up to 1 Mile (1600m) away from the source. It is ideal for distribution systems where high quality video and audio are required, but where either the distances are too great for SCART leads, or a less bulky cable is required. These could include homes, pubs, clubs, office buildings, displays, security systems…

MILESTONE Phono Master behaves in the system in exactly the same way as the more common SCART-equipped Master, but is designed to allow you to use the Milestone distribution system with source devices not equipped with SCART connectors, such as video games consoles, camcorders, laptops, security cameras and American or Asian market video equipment.

MILESTONE Phono Master is equipped with captive leads, allowing direct connection to the display without the need for additional patch cables.

MILESTONE Phono Master has the ability to reemit IR remote control signals received from any Slave on the network. A compact high power Blaster simply plugs into the Master, and both the plug itself and socket are colour coded to avoid confusion.

MILESTONE Phono Master is extremely compact, allowing it to be hidden very easily behind the source device.

MILESTONE Phono Master has LEDs to monitor the power and signal status.

MILESTONE Phono Master can enter power-save mode if no video signal is present, saving above 80% of peak operating power. It acts as master power controller, so will invoke power-save mode on all Milestone equipment attached to it, and will switch on the entire network automatically as soon as its input becomes active.

MILESTONE’s flexible architecture, allows all MILESTONE components to be used in systems of any size from simple point-to-point links, to more complex systems fed by Milestone-SCART-PLUS, and right up to large systems with multiple outlets supplied by one or more Milestone-System-Hubs.
